Infosys BPO partners with American Institute

Infosys BPO Ltd., the Business Process Outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Limited, has announced a strategic partnership with the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and the Insurance Institute of America (the Institutes) to enrich its insurance vertical.

The partnership will enhance the domain expertise, learning and development of the employees of Infosys BPO serving Property & Casualty and Reinsurance customers. The professionals will be provided with co-branded certification in collaboration with the Institutes. It will leverage the Institutes’ leadership position as Property & Casualty-focused global educational organizations, and use their proprietary learning platform, the Institutes Online, for training and certification of Infosys BPO employees.

Infosys BPO has more than 3,000 professionals certified in various insurance and healthcare industry certifications. The company has selected courses relevant for its engagements. Through this partnership, Infosys BPO plans to roll out internal and external certifications for more than 1,000 employees in the next two to three years.

The insurance vertical is one of the key industry verticals for Infosys BPO, covering property & casualty, insurance and reinsurance. The vertical serves a variety of customers, providing innovative business process outsourcing and platform services.
