Logica has signed an agreement with Posten Norden to take over development and management of SAP and other applications for 47,500 users. The five year agreement involves approximately 280 employees of Posten Norden being transferred to Logica business in Sweden and Denmark. Logica also takes over responsibility for subcontracts, which corresponds to approximately 150 full-time consultants.
Logica’s strong local presence in Scandinavia, in combination with an innovative concept for Application Management and an extensive SAP competence were key success factors in the agreement. The employees, who through the agreement are to be released to Logica, adds a valuable augmentation to the Logica business, and will help to strengthen the relationship with Posten Norden. A focus on continuous improvement will help Logica Posten Norden to lower its costs and improve the quality of its services.

The acquisition takes place on the 3rd May 2010 and involves approximately 140 employees of Posten Norden moving to Logica in Sweden and approximately 140 employees transferred to Logica in Denmark.
