March 12th, 2010 by Harsimran Pal Singh Leave a reply »

hiSoft Technology International Ltd. plans to be listed in the US, Cheng-Yaw Sun, executive chairman of the leading global IT outsourcing service provider, said in an interview on March 11.

More software outsourcing service providers will debut on the market, as software outsourcing is another great opportunity for China to go global, apart from manufacturing. hiSoft has had over 4,000 employees so far and aims at a figure of about 10,000 in the near future. It will attach more importance to exploring the markets including Dalian and Wuxi and has begun building “hiSoft Park”. In the meantime, it will focus on the markets of Japan, the US, and Singapore and launch mergers and acquisitions (M&As) there at an appropriate time.

Sun retired from the position as president of HP China on May 31, 2007 and joined in hiSoft as chairman in March 2008. He has shifted himself into an enterpriser from a professional manager and currently, he acts as executive chairman of hiSoft with taking charge of the company’s operation as major work.
