7 steps to outsourcing your internet marketing business

Here are seven simple steps that you can use in order to streamline your outsourcing process and have more success in a quicker amount of time.

1. Define exactly what you need.

The key to having success with internet marketing outsourcing is defining exactly what you need. Write down all of the tasks that are related to your business and what needs to be done. Do you need a writer? A graphic designer? A virtual assistant? You can find all of them through outsourcing.

2. Write down explicit instructions for your task.

Successful internet marketing outsourcing starts with clear communication. Before you even begin looking for people to hire, you should write down the specific steps that your worker will take when they are completing the job for you. Using screenshots, videos and written tutorials will help you hire people that can complete the job for you.

3. Ask for recommendations.

Sometimes the best workers come from people that you know who are involved in Internet marketing. Ask around in forums for suggestions on who you should hire for specific tasks. When you get the best, you can rely on them to complete the tasks right the first time and you’ll have less to worry about when you outsource.

4. Browse through freelance bidding sites.

If you can’t find any recommendations from people that you know, you can look at freelance bidding sites like Guru.com or Elance.com. These sites have hundreds of providers that can do the jobs that you need. The best part is that workers are bidding for your work so they’ll offer their best price for their services. In addition, your money is safe until the work is complete because most bidding sites offer escrow services.

5. Offer your worker a test project.

Before you assign all of your potential work to an outsource provider you need to use a test project so you can ensure that they will give you the quality that you need. For example, if you have 100 articles you need every month, give a write 10 to see if they’ll do a good job before you hire for all of them at once.

6. Expand the involvement of quality workers.

Once they’ve completed a test project for you, expand their involvement so you can get more work out of them and spend less hands-on time in your business. If the quality is good, you can trust them with more and more projects.

7. Move on to the next project to outsource.

Once you’ve established a relationship with a quality worker in one category of your business, it’s time to move on to outsourcing another aspect.
