A dialogue on outsourcing online article marketing content to india

Many folks buy online articles for their online marketing from India. Why would they outsource to someone half a world away, especially if they were an article marketer in the good old USA? Well, the Internet is world-wide and everything can be done online. So, where you outsource too is pretty irrelevant, and there are article writers in India willing to write articles for $1-2 each, which is a very low price.

Still, much of the content you can buy from Indian writers must be checked, some are decent writers, some are not. And if your topic is something that needs to be written in such a way that you connect with your reader, those who live in India are not always up on American Culture, things are much different there.

Not long ago, I recommend to marketers online not to buy articles for $1-2 each from India, and they scolded me for not being politically correct, and told me they were a “child of the universe” and saw beyond human borders and continents. Okay, still, I will not fully retract my comment about ghost written articles from India, because it really wasn’t derogatory, and so, no one should take it personally.

Being a “child of the universe” is cool, but I will not cloud my real-world observations with political correctness. Indeed, I know good and well, what I am talking about, so whereas, there are many really good writers from India that know their English extremely well, you have to be very careful.

Just because someone can write an article that is legible and they happen to be from India, does not mean they are immersed in US culture enough to relate with your reader, enough to pull them in for a click-through. Thus, for example, if you need articles written about Halloween, a holiday not celebrated in India, then Halloween articles for $1-2 a piece might be a dismal idea.
